Subject: d.split: frames are NOT equal

Platform: GNU/Linux/i386
grass obtained from: CVS
grass binary for platform: Compiled from Sources
GRASS Version: cvs 23.08.05

d.split fails to divide the monitor into equal pieces.

As well vertically:

d.resize width=800 height=600
g.region vect=frame res=1 -a
d.split 'cmd1=d.vect frame col=blue' 'cmd2=d.vect frame col=red' view=vert
d.split 'cmd1=d.vect frame col=blue' 'cmd2=d.vect frame col=red' view=horiz
