[GRASS5] sqlite3.h

I need help with testing sqlite.  When I try to compile grass (latest cvs snapshot) with sqlite support, I get an error concerning a missing sqlite3.h.  I thought I needed to recompile gdal with sqlite support.  But when I try to do that, it also complains about sqlite3.h.  

I am using Fedora Core 2 and installed a sqlite and sqlite-devel package.  There is a sqlite.h header but no sqlite3.h.  

Can someone advise me, please?
