Indeed, most sliders do work. Here are those which don't fo sure:

Vector Points:
icon size

Raster Surfaces:
resolution, both coarse and fine

Vector Lines/3D Polygons:
line width

Do you confirm?

I don't know for other 'Visualize' entries as I'm not using them,
worthy of checking too I guess.
