grass obtained from: Trento Italy site
grass binary for platform: Compiled from Sources
GRASS Version: Grass 6.1cvs compiled 2006-07-10

Here's the error I get when processing input xyz data:

r.in.xyz input=Creed_2006030_1 output=Creed_2006030_2 fs=space
Scanning data ...
*** glibc detected *** double free or corruption (fasttop): 0x0804d298 ***
Aborted

This error comes and goes...I can't seem to pinpoint what is causing it to occur. The input xyz file is only 116MB. There's nothing remarkable about the data itself, just 3 columns of space-delimited data.
