True. 

But for people changing the region interactively with the zoom tools, they
will also be changing the display geometry. In such circumstances, zoom back
will also change the geometry. For 'zooming to current region', it is also
difficult to know if the display geometry has or has not changed. But for
most options, it will have changed.
