Initial Comment:
In v.digit, the following combination causes the v.digit gui (and the monitor v.digit is working with) to freeze.
 
1. display attribute of some feature
      [...some work...]
2. new feature --> entering new label; submitting
      [...]
3. display attribute of another feature
      [...]
4. new feature --> creating it
      the two windows freeze the moment the "label" form pops up


The monitor then is unaccessible by grass, the vector map's topology is damaged afterwards, but can be restored with v.build; the last entered new feature is added to the map.

When exiting grass via "exit", the two windows remain, but they can be closed when exiting grass by killing the terminal grass has been started with.
