I don't know yet. I haven't installed scipy and so haven't seen what pyplot
does. I wanted to make sure that it was worth the effort on my part to test
it out before doing so.
There have been enough positive replies that I'll go ahead and work on
installing scipy (the successor to numeric/numarray->numpy) to try this out.
If this becomes a general GRASS dependency,
I could see some very positive results in having a sophisticated scientific
computation toolkit available for scripting.
