[GRASS-dev] g.parser how to debug ?

hi,

when using g.parser to get paramters into bash-scripts (nothing fancy: input map, output map, a string) there's a problem with the GUI-variant: if the script is invoked with all paramters provided on the command line, it works as expected.

if its called up without any parameters, the GUI is generated and the parameters are entered (same as provided for the command line).

however, it stops short of doing anything, showing the red-disk-white-x - icon on the output panel. 

how can I figure out what's going on/debug the script if necessary ?
