[GRASS-dev] grass with gdal support

Hi, 

trying to build grass cvs with gdal support with a gdal-config inside a svn
folder I get following error message (both checkouts are only a few minutes
ago):

checking whether to use GDAL... yes
yes
checking for gdal-config... /software/gdal/apps/gdal-config
checking for GDALOpen... no
checking for GDALOpen... no
configure: error: *** couldn't find GDAL

when I build grass with the installed debian gdal package it works fine.

checking whether to use GDAL... yes
checking for gdal-config... /usr/bin/gdal-config
checking for GDALOpen... yes

Does anybody know this problem and can help?
