Initial Comment:
Reprojecting (r.proj) a reclassed map results in a map without the original reclass informations.

The reclass file ($grassdb/$location/$mapset/cats/mymap) shows up:

--BEGIN
# 7 categories


0.00 0.00 0.00 0.00
--END

so it seems that the '7 categories' list is just not written to the file.
