[GRASS-dev] problem regarding the display of map

Hi
I need a help regarding the display of map after conversion from raster to
vector or vice versa .
I am successful in converting map from raster to vector ,but when i display
the image i am getting only either line or croxx marks in square box
so how can i display the vect image
