Few notes regrading GRASS64 release version,
especially for people who have educational material or scripts with r.watershed -

As it was already discussed in bug tracker, for r.watershed in GRASS64
things may not work as expected due to the r.watershed update to FP (and other improvements).
e.g, some of the examples from the grassbook do not work anymore
(partly my fault because the more accurate algorithm detects few cells outside the watershed
that are outside the given region causing a cascade of issues that require a complete rewrite of the example,
additionally, the d.rast result cat= also had to be changed to val).

Markus - should we provide a fix on the GRASSbook website under GRASS changes?
We don't have anything there for the third edition yet.
I have the updated examples here
http://courses.ncsu.edu/mea582/common/GIS_anal_grass/GIS_Anal_grflow.html

there are also some issues with r.sun on Windows (but only for some people)
1) “ERROR: Unable to set up lat/long projection parameters and
2) “ERROR: Neither sun position nor east/north, date/time/timezone definitions are complete.”
but so far I could not reproduce these so they may be related to user issues.

and r.sim.water does not run on windows or mac in the release - so I need to go back to see what happened to the fix.

Helena
