 for example I have different examples of installation paths in my
 WinVista-box which are working:

 C:\Program Files\ET GeoTools 9.4 for ArcGIS 9.2
 C:\Program Files\MSXML 4.0
 C:\Program Files\OpenOffice.org 3
 C:\Program Files\Scribus 1.3.5.1
 C:\Program Files\Notepad++
