Comment:

 Reopening the ticket because nothing is fixed yet. I would suggest to add
 a new option for wrapping to 0,360 instead of -180,180, and maybe add a
 test if wrapping would be needed. The purpose of the attached patch was to
 demonstrate that the problem could be solved by wrapping to 0,360. But I
 don't think this should be done automatically.
