 tested here
 http://grass.osgeo.org/grass64/binary/mswindows/native/WinGRASS-6.4.2RC1-1-Setup.exe
 on a fresh german 64bit-win7-box and on german 32bit-winvista-box, I can't
 reproduce these errors.
