 it looks like the fix will need to be in d.mon. That's not something I
 want to risk breaking just before release, as it's too critical a
 component.

 cairo driver support from the wxGUI commented out in 6.4svn r56679 so we
 can move forward with the release. Will continue to try and get it working
 in devbr6.
