#2653: GRASS 6.4.3 no file chooser popup for Add raster/vector map layer

 The current OSGeo4W 64-bit windows distribution installs GRASS 6.4.3
 (later versions not offered). However, after a clean instillation of this
 I can not get data to display. There is no file chooser popup generated as
 a result of either the "Add raster map layer" or the "Add vector map
 layer" buttons in the layer manager.

 In addition, those layers that do show in the layer manager, as a result
 of importing from an external format, do not display in the Map display.

 If I install from the 32-bit OSGeo4W distribution, I only get a command
 line version at 6.4.3, but the 6.4.4 gui version works as expected in
 regard to the above issue.
