[GRASS-dev] SESSION_MANAGER environment variable not defined

Hi Anna and Martin,
Anna -- You are absolutely correct. What doesn't work is anything that
requires opening another window after GRASS GIS starts. No other errors
show up in the GUI console. This applies to the version that I compiled
myself. The version that I got from apt-get won't launch the GUI at all and
(as noted above) prints the following message:
```
ERROR: wxGUI does not support wxPython 3.0.0.0 yet.
Error in GUI startup. If necessary, please
report this error to the GRASS developers.
Switching to text mode now.
```
Martin -- just to double-check, did you try adding a layer and have success
in doing that? And what OS (and, if applicable, desktop) are you using?
Andy
