 I don't think so. Without GRASS_VECTOR_LOWMEM, v.build needs about 26 GB
 of RAM. With GRASS_VECTOR_LOWMEM, v.build needs about 11 GB of RAM but is
 about 4.5 times slower, that is expected because some temporary data are
 kept on disk and not in memory. File sizes are 6.4 GB for coor (the actual
 vector features), 3.1 GB for topo (main vector topology), 11 GB for sidx
 (spatial index) and 922 MB for cidx (category index).
