 This has been discussed before, but AFAICT, there is actually no open
 ticket for this.

 It would be great to have a button that would allow a click on the map to
 open a form permitting the editing of attributes.

 Even greater would be if this form could be easily customized, i.e. to
 only show certain, selected attribute columns.
