[GRASS-dev] set null compression permanently

Hi,

I just tried to enable compression of null files, using within a session:

export GRASS_COMPRESS_NULLS=1

r.null -z map=mymap

This works fine, but how can I  set this permanently. Can I for example 
use g.gisenv for that? Or do I need to set this every time when starting 
a new session?
