Comment (by neteler):

 Now it compiles (patch updated) for me but I have no GeoPackage on my
 current machine (so, "ESRI_Shapefile" is shown).

 TODO:
  * decide if GDALGetDriverByName() should be used (depends on GDAL
 version?)
  * test on system with GeoPackage present
