 According to the [https://grass.osgeo.org/grass77/manuals/r.in.ascii.html
 docs]:

 > r.in.ascii may import integer, floating point, or double cell types
 using the -i, -f, and -d flags, respectively.

 Using these flags raises an exception though. Not sure if it is a
 documentation issue or a bug.
