Dear All,

We are delighted to share that OSGeo has been accepted as one of the
mentoring organizations for the Google Summer of Code 2021. This will be
our 15th year participating as a mentoring organization starting 2007
onwards (Congratulations to all of us, this is indeed a great achievement).

The list of accepted organizations is at [0].
Our OSGeo GSoC 2021 application is available at [1].

Please note the Student Application Period opens *March 29 - April 13,
2021, 18:00 UTC*.
Students interested in participating with OSGeo are recommended to start
discussing the application ideas [2] with the OSGeo mentoring projects.
They shall register and submit their applications beginning March 29 till
April 13, 2021. All proposals must be submitted before the deadline of
April 13, 2021, 18:00 UTC.

We still have time for more projects to participate with ideas [2].
It is an amazing opportunity to:

   - Add functionality to your projects.
   - Attract more contributors participating in the projects; sometimes
   they become long-term contributors. :)

If you wish to participate, please send your project ideas list to us at
the gsoc-admin (AT) osgeo (DOT) org.
OSGeo projects, Incubating projects, and Community projects are welcome.

Stay tuned for further instructions on the next steps, and let us be
prepared for another geospatial GSoC with OSGeo!
