Hi,
I've got gstat and I know that it is possible to use sites file of GRASS,
with x, y, and z coordinates. But what is the best way to work with 3D data?
I would like to know if someone has used 3D data in GRASS and has
interpolated these results to produce output maps.
Some time ago I used GSTAT to produce 2D gaussian simulations and the output
was writen in GRASS, but I can't imagine how to do this with 3D. Perhaps is
it possible to produce a stack of raster maps? If so, how do I specify the
vertical resolution of output (distance between maps)? Is this possible?
Perhaps it is better to use the GRASS Grid 3D Modules. But these are not
compiled by default. Do they work right yet? Is it possible to use GSTAT to
produce Grid3D maps?
If the way is
As you can see, I'm lost in this. I just would like to receive an advice
about these topics.
Thanks and best wishes
Javier
