Weighted Buffers?

The way I would approach this is have a buffer layer where 1 = 100' from
steams and 2 = 200' from steams. Then I would use r.mapcalc and its
logical if, then statements to access slope coverage and buffer coverage to
develope the third coverage, the "weighted buffer".
