GRASS4.0 Under openwindows 3.0

To add a comment to what Julian Ray has noted, when I was running
on the same conditions (sparc2/sunos 4.1.2/openwin 3)
and using the newer version of XDRIVER from the updates on the moon,
I didn't get the "flashing" that was typical before, but
the black color was more gray than black. So, when I did a "d.erase
black", I got a murky gray screen. Other colors looked
a bit washed out as well, compared to how I remember them from
using XDRIVER previously... I was guessing that the flashing was
eliminated by trying to fit the grass colors in with the existing
colormap. I haven't done a lot of experimentation since getting the
newer version of XDRIVER, but I thought I would pass this comment
along since the topic came up in the mail queue.
