Compiling GRASS on a Sun4

You`ve to the GRASS setup that it should create the grass4.0 command
in /geodata2/jac/grass. However you made the msitake of creating
a directory called /geodata2/jac/grass/grass4.0. You need to rerun the setup
and tell GRASS to install grass4.0 somewhere else (eg /usr/local/bin).

| I've run into a problem compiling GRASS on a Sun4 running 4.1.1 . I get
|as far as general/gis in the next_step file before it fails. Per instructions
|on page 7 of the instlation guide gmake4.0 is on the path.
