X and GRASS

To run GRASS on one machine M1 and have the XDRIVER display its output on
a second machine M2 which is running an X-server:

  on M2: xhost M1               (to allow M1 to use X on M2)
  on M1: setenv DISPLAY M2:0.0  (to tell X program to use M2 for display)
         d.mon x0               (run the grass driver. It will display on M2)
