german coordinate system

To any German GRASS-MAPGEN-user:

Recently I've been working with data from Germany, in an area close
to the Dutch border near Juelich and Aachen; map-coordinates
on German maps are given in the so-called Gauss-Krueger projection,
better known as Transverse Mercator. When I want to make maps in
MAPGEN I have to define the projection with m.setproj. The <tmerc>-
option then prompts me for a central meridian and standard parallel.
Can anyone tell me what the values of the meridian and parallel should
be?
