d.zoom

[mara tongue]

Hello GRASS users,
 
Lately when I go to zoom in on an area
(using the d.zoom command).  The graphics
display monitor disappears and the following
error message appears:
 
 
X Error of failed request:  BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
  Major opcode of failed request:  73 (X_GetImage)
  Serial number of failed request:  4274
  Current serial number in output stream:  4274
ERROR eof from graphics driver.
 
 
any ideas??
