r.le programs

For all those folks who haven't been following the discussion:

the r.le suite of programs compute a number of landscape ecology measures
such as edge, fractal stats etc.  They were developed by Wm Baker and
associates at Univ of Wy.  They appear to be very useful and are on the
moon. >
