khoros junkmail

The point about posting essentially junk mail to the list, and/or
messages that have only meaning or value to one or a few individuals
is well taken. This goes also for people forcing several hundred
list members to eavesdrop on their essentially private conversations.

While I am in "gripe mode," people who send messages without
linefeeds--i.e., assume that the lines will by some stroke of magic
spontaneously wrap on the recipient's terminal--are requested, once
more, to please use the <Enter> key (or whatever is appropiate) to
make their messages readable on systems that do not provide linefeed
insertion services for the terminally lazy. With between 50 and 100
messages coming across my screen each day, ones that need doctoring
before I can read them simply get trashed without reading. I suspect
others do the same.
