Floating point exception with XDRIVER

Hi,
    Since I cannot find the answer in the FAQ, I have to post this on
the list.  I am compiling grass on Linux0.99 with X11R5 and couldn't
get the XDRIVER work.  When I try to start XDRIVER, it will say:
Floating point exception (core dump).  I guess it has something to do
with my computer (DELL466/T).  Can someone give me some suggestions?
