Program `geod' in the PROJ.4 system will perform the above operation
otherwise known as the forward or direct geodesic.  PROJ.4.2.1 is
available on charon.er.usgs.gov (128.128.40.24) ftp anon.  See
pub/README for details on files to download.  Geod will also
do the inverse problem: distance and azimuths between two geo-
graphic locations.
