How Print Vector Attribute on Map ? ? ?

Although GRASS needs individual vector layers to be able to print in different
colors, the alpha command v.reclass in GRASS4.1 allows you to generate these
layers quite easily from a single layer with multiple attributes. Labeling,
however, is not quite so easy...
