PostScript, per se, doesn't have a "resolution."  The data or the destination
device has resolution.

Are you talking about scale (size)?  Ghostview usually does a reasonable
job of fitting a file to the screen automatically.

Are you talking about the "image" or "imagemask" operators?

Terms need further refinement.
