fate of xgrass

The following message I recieved from Russ Hougland at CECER:


I don't know if I'd say work on
XGRASS has officially stopped, but there sure isn't a lot of
activity on it at the moment.  Andy does make occasional bug
fixes, but most of his time is currently devoted to another
project.  I really don't know what the future of XGRASS is.
It probably depends on funding.  The current funding for XGRASS
was cut (to zero) which is why work stopped.
