Hi there , I just downloaded the binaries from grass-axp-binaries.tar . It 
was my understanding that if I had these I wouldn't have to go through the 
whole setup and compilation process as specified in the installation guide.
But I don't understand where the executable to run grass is located. I also 
downloaded the source code that goes with axp. But set up is asking me if I
am a super user, although I own the directories etc that the files are located 
in. 

Any suggestions on how I can gt grass runningon my alpha?
