latlong=>state plane

[Grass GIS user]

Is there any program similar to m.ll2u for converting ll to state plane
coords?  I see the setup file with ll and state plane data (state27) in
the etc directory, leading me to believe that there something should be
around for the conversion.  I'm working in the florida east zone, 1927
datum.
