It's a software name as well as a file format. The company name is also called ERDAS. Their latest product is renamed IMAGINE. GRASS command r.in.erdas (for ERDAS 7.3 format?), i.tape.other (for ERDAS 7.4?) can handle ERDAS. I'm not sure they can be used for IMAGINE. IMAGINE has a new data structure if I'm right. --Xin
