I was reading the printed and on-line documentation
for GRASS4.1 r.slope.aspect command and thought I would
mention a small misprint that appears in the User Manual
and in the on-line man page.
In the section describing the non-interactive use of
r.slope.aspect [slope=name] is referred to twice. I believe
from the details found lower in the parameters desciption
that the second slope should be [format=name].
Quoting from the man page:
The program will be run non-interactively if the user
specifies program inputs and any desired options on the
command line, using the form
r.slope.aspect [-aq] elevation=name [slope=name]
[aspect=name] [slope=name] [zfactor=value]
should read:
r.slope.aspect [-aq] elevation=name [slope=name]
[aspect=name] [format=name] [zfactor=value]
^^^^^^
This may be of use to the general users of r.slope.aspect
as an addition from GRASS4.0
Where should observations about documentation be directed?
Where can plans for GRASS 5.0 be obtained at OGI?
Thanks
