r.profile

I'm trying to use r.profile to get a profile at an angle to
my shoreline. I know the end points of my profile and inputed them
into the program.  The problem is that the output is in reverse
order.  

If I run a profile in a straight line the profile is fine!
Can anyone tell me if I reverse the order of numbers if I
will get a good profile?
