DXF importing

Firstly thanks to all who replied with suggests to my DXF importing
problem.

I tried them out and have progressed - partly !

I can now export the parts of the model space, from Autocad for Windows,
that form the groundwater protection boundary - problem is when the file
is imported into GRASS. The v.in.dxf runs with no reported errors, but
when I try to run v.support I get a 'degenerate line' error. It only
seems to happen to one of the lines in the boundary. The remaining bits
all look OK.

What is this 'degenerate line' and how can I solve the problem.

I'm also a bit worried that I can export a DXF from Autocad for Windows,
that Autocad then says is incorrect ??
