ARC-Info Ungenerate

Hello Grass-users,

I have a problem importing arc-info ungenerate files, made by grass 
into ARC-Info. It looks as if ARC-Info deletes vertices. I use the 
following construction in ARC-Info

generate mon
input mon.pol
lines
input mon.lab
points
quit

After I have done this I can have a look at the coverage using ARC-
plot. The original polygons are only approximately the same as the 
imported ones. However, when I import the UNGENERATE files in GRASS 
again, using v.in.arc, the picture looks fine. Someone who can help??
