GRASS4.1-DTED

Hi, again more GRASS4.1 question:

1- Can GRASS4.1 import ARC/INFO 7.0.2 grid(lattice) coverages?

2- Can GRASS4.1 import(read) DTED data from any other source than 1/2" tape,
(e.g. from disk or CD)

3- Where are the naming conventions for files, when it asks me to display
raster,vector, etc. files, where do I look at the sample data (spearfish) to
find out what kind of file am I looking for?
