Ellipsoid closest to 1924 reference?

I'm assembling a DEM from digitized topo quads for a region
in Chile.  The ellipsiod given on the maps is "Elipsoide de
referencia internacional 1924", which doesn't appear to be
available in GRASS 4.1.  

Could one of the geographers out there tell me what the best choice 
would be amoung the ellipsoids that are available in GRASS 4.1?
