Karen Bryant,
		There's a chance that there could be a problem with cell
size and the size of your grid.  In other words, the way you set up your
grid in either ARC or GRASS may push your feature a half of a pixel one way
or another.  I had a problem using polygrid, and it was caused by that sort
of difference.
