I don't suppose you're using the Solaris message-queue version of
the xdriver? If so, the problem is that the message queues don't always get
deleted, especially, I think, when you clobber the plot window from the
window manager rather than using d.mon stop= .
To fix, use the unix ipcs and ipcrm commands. See man pages. You
probably have to be root. Or reboot, but thats a less than elegant
approach. BTW, as others have reported, the ye olde fifo version workd
quite well under Sol 2.3 and 2.4.
If you're not using the message queue version, I dunno. Check the
permissions on the fifos maybe.
