There is a free alternative to Image Alchemy that I've been using with good
success with the HP650C for the last six months: Aladdin Ghostscript. I've
compiled version 3.33 under Linux 1.2.3 and uploaded the binary to the
incoming directory on the GRASS net site (gs3.33.taz). I've also compiled
version 3.53 for AIX 3.2 and could make that available as well.
(Ghostscript is distributed with many Linux packages but normally does not
include the driver for the 650C.)
